How does that sound? It sounds like a joke doesn't it?

But it's working fine for me. I am definitely fitter, stronger, healthier, calmer and ultimately more confident and happier.

All I do is a few activities for 4 minutes, 4 times a day and from Monday to Thursday. That's it.

After all the hassle we all suffered in 2020 with health scares and lockdowns I took the decision to finally take responsibility for my own health and fitness.

So after 30-odd years of doing no exercise and not really caring for my health I said "Enough is Enough!" and from then on I started EXERCISING.

Not only that I also started thinking about food and drink and even got serious about improving my brain! (As in trying to reduce stress and be more positive).

The challenge was that I was mega busy so didn't have a lot of spare time, also the thought of forcing myself to exercise every day was daunting so I knew I had to develop some ideas to somehow make it easy....

I ended up developing a framework during 2022-2023 leveraging the unavoidable 80/20 principle which makes it possible to gain way more benefits in much less time than you would normally expect.

Once I realized how well it was working for me I decided to document everything to help other guys who are similar age to me. Surely if it's working well for me it can also work for other guys who are serious about getting fitter and stronger?

The book is called Route-444 which is basically the framework I have developed. In the book I explain how to get fitter and stronger by taking advantage of 80/20 principles without having to spend hours and hours a week in the gym or going on painful / stressful diets!

Who the book is for?

Route-444 is for busy guys like me who want to get Fitter, Stronger and Healthier both physically and mentally without having to spend hours a day and spend a fortune on fancy equipment and courses and crazy diets.

This book is aimed at guys who were born between 1965-1970, so you were kids in the 70's and teenagers in the 80's (like I was!). We've grown up during a similar timeframe and may have similar concerns and challenges as we are approaching retirement.... fast!

Busy guys like us who are working all hours running our own businesses find it difficult to focus on our family never mind ourselves to start getting fitter and stronger.

That was my challenge and that's why I had to develop something which I would find easy to do. I needed some kind of hack.... and that's where the 80/20 principle came in!

The ultimate objective of my book will be to give you a framework to get stronger and fitter (physically and mentally) to maximise the strength of your immune system to banish all the colds, Man-Flu and worse, with the minimal effort possible in true 80/20 style.

It's a framework I have developed for myself since March 2022 and have been modifying to suit me. So far so good. I'm still alive! (.....and definitely fitter and stronger than I was).

What is 80/20?

So far I haven't actually said what 80/20 is - on the basis I expect most of you have heard of it.

Basically the 80/20 Rule or Principle is saying that:

20% of your TIME

produces

80% of your BENEFITS

But there is a lot more to it than that. For example some things work more like 90/10 or even 50/1, so you get 50% of the benefits for 1% of the overall time and effort.

This applies to ALL areas of your life including your health and fitness which is what I'm focussing on first.

Being fit and well is a priority and in my opnion needs fixing first in order to be in the right state and frame of mind to start tackling the other challenges in your life like business and money.

Book Format

Initially, the book will be in electronic format so you can read it on your desktop computer, laptop, iPad, tablet and mobile phone.

Also if you have a Kindle you will be able to upload the book and read it on that.

If there is enough interest in the book and I manage to sell a few then I will look into the idea of producing printed versions for those diehards who need to read a proper book printed on paper!
